Marco is a Budapest based 1stAD with over 25 years experience working in Features and HETV. He was a 2ndAD for 5 years, before transitioning to 1stAD for the last 25 years. He has extensive overseas filming experience and comprehensive health & safety training. He is a dual national, holding Italian & UK passports with additional bases in Prague and London.

Marco has a consistent track record of successfully managing & delivering projects on schedule, while ensuring to cater to the priorities and vision of the creatives. He brings vast knowledge & experience to the pre-production stage, excelling at creating robust & accurate schedules, with an incredible breadth of oversight, attention to detail, and a level of meticulous planning that is hard to match.

Confident and assured on set, Marco runs a calm and focused floor, engendering a strong work ethic and promoting a culture of professionalism and mutual respect. Always friendly and approachable, he remains totally unflappable under pressure, maintaining his composure and a positive attitude even in the most challenging circumstances.

Overseas filming experience includes Hungary, UK, Czechia, Italy, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Slovenia, Malta, Luxembourg, Austria, RO Ireland & N Ireland.

When not on set, Marco enjoys family life, fitness training, practicing Chinese martial arts, classical Western & Eastern philosophy, horology, horror and kung fu movies, playing chess, and meeting good friends for good espresso.

Marco is widely recognised in the industry as a film professional who takes his health and safety responsibilities very seriously. He is proactive in contributing his expertise to the development, management and effective communication of the productions H&S controls. He holds both DGA & UK safety passports.

During his prolific career, Marco has shot over 100 episodes of television drama and more than 15 feature films from studio pictures to Independent movies, spanning genres from WWII, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, action-adventure & historical.

His filmmaking know-how covers a wide spectrum including 2nd unit Directing and Co Producing,

navigating SAG & Equity contracts and experience coordinating major stunt, SFX, VFX & prosthetic teams, ensuring seamless integration between departments. He also enjoys a good working relationship with many studios and bond companies like FFI.
