ABOUT

Turning ambitious ideas into practical shooting plans, solving the challenges of complex productions and keeping the creative vision on track — all with a healthy sense of humour. And no shouting!

I'm a senior First Assistant Director, Associate Producer and Second Unit Director with 30 years' experience across 70+ feature films and high-end television productions.

I've worked on productions of every scale, from intimate dramas to large international co-productions. Over three decades, I've learned that great productions are built on meticulous preparation, close collaboration and practical problem-solving. From early schedule development through demanding 100+ day shoots, I specialise in planning and delivering complex multi-unit projects with realistic, robust schedules that protect the creative vision while delivering within budget and schedule.

I've worked extensively on international productions across more than 20 European countries, collaborating with diverse crews, production systems and filming environments. Holding both UK and EU passports, I'm accustomed to the logistical and operational demands of European production.

My experience includes marine operations, underwater filming, large crowd scenes, period battles, major stunt sequences, prosthetics and creature work, VFX-heavy productions and motion-control photography — the kinds of productions where detailed planning, clear communication and strong coordination are essential.

Alongside my AD and Second Unit work, I also work as an Associate Producer and provide production consulting to producers, studios and production companies, bringing a practical, production-led approach to schedule development, feasibility, production planning and oversight. I've directed Second Unit on television series and feature films, and have also stepped in to cover Main Unit.

I also work across commercials, branded content, broadcast idents and music videos, bringing the same disciplined approach to preparation, organisation and leadership at every scale.

I'm a longstanding member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Assistant Directors Guild UK (ADG UK), and hold both CSATF and UK production safety certifications.
