ABOUT
I'm a senior First Assistant Director, Associate Producer and Second Unit Director with more than 30 years' experience across 70+ feature films and high-end television productions.
Throughout my career I've worked on productions of every scale, from intimate dramas to large international co-productions, helping directors and producers turn ambitious ideas into practical shooting plans and successful productions. Over three decades I've learned that the best productions are built on meticulous preparation, close collaboration and practical problem-solving, creating the conditions in which creativity can flourish.
From early schedule development through multi-unit production and demanding location work, I specialise in planning, coordinating and delivering complex shoots. Whether it's managing multiple departments, adapting to changing circumstances or solving problems under pressure, my focus is always on keeping productions moving while protecting both the creative vision and the safety of the cast and crew.
I've worked extensively on international productions across more than 20 European countries, collaborating with diverse crews, production systems and filming environments. Holding both UK and EU passports, I'm accustomed to the logistical and operational demands of European production and the flexibility that international filmmaking requires.
My experience includes large-scale productions involving marine operations, underwater filming, large crowd scenes, period battles, major stunt sequences, prosthetics and creature work, VFX-heavy productions, and motion-control photography. These are the kinds of productions where detailed planning, clear communication and strong coordination make all the difference.
Alongside feature films and television drama, I also work across commercials, branded content, broadcast idents and music videos, bringing the same disciplined approach to preparation, organisation and leadership, whatever the scale of the production.
I'm a longstanding member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Assistant Directors Guild UK (ADG UK), and hold both CSATF and UK production safety certifications.
